Dermsquared, a prominent dermatology organization with over 16,000 dedicated dermatologists, embarked on a mission to redefine their identity. While they had a vast community, they needed a brand that reflected their forward-thinking approach, blending technology and media into the heart of dermatological care. Our challenge was to not only create a compelling brand but also to market it effectively to various stakeholders.

Dermsquared successfully consolidated sub-brands, events, and products under one master brand, achieving a unified presence in dermatology. Dermsquared's media presence soared, positioning them as industry leaders and attracting a dedicated following their platforms. Remarkably, Dermsquared sold out all of their sponsorship inventory within a month of the rebrand, highlighting the brand's appeal, positioning, and impact.
Strategy & Approach
Developing the Strategy
We initiated a series of collaborative meetings with Dermsquared to define their core values and goals. Our objective was clear: to craft a brand that embodied innovation, unity, and progress in dermatology. We identified brand positioning opportunities to help Dermsquared develop their industry authority, expand their reach, and establish their new brand identity.
Crafting the Solution
Dermsquared's new brand identity was meticulously designed to encapsulate their technological prowess, forward-thinking vision, and commitment to the field of dermatology. We created a dynamic visual identity that resonated with their ethos as well as guidelines to provide for long-term implementation with third-party vendors, faculty, and staff.
Implementation
Based on the developed brand identity and guidelines, we created a series of marketing materials including but not limited to exhibit booth signage, employee apparel, direct mailers, eNewsletters, social media pages, investor presentation decks, and more. We also oversaw the development of their new websites to ensure brand consistency and usage of industry best practices.
Interactive Digital Marketing Materials
We developed a unique set of interactive digital marketing materials showcasing Dermsquared’s product offerings across their various activations. The result, Dermsquared was able to sell their entire portfolio within weeks of launching their refreshed brand, leading to a significant increase in revenue.
